Due to the Governments Policy on COVID 19 we had to suspend Training. We are now in the process of preparing to re-open when the Government permits us to do so.
Because of Social distancing we will reduce our course numbers to a maximum of 4 students per course. When distance cannot be maintained we will provide face masks, along with gloves and other appropriate PPE.
In the main, tools and equipment will be colour coded for your own personal use to reduce cross contamination. Spray bottles are also available to de-contaminate any items that may be handled by multi users.
Priority will be to re-book our clients who have missed courses over the last 2 months, We will not be taking any new bookings till this process is complete. We appreciate your patience at this difficult time.
Trade-Ability Policy Statement regarding Coronavirus (COVID 19)
Given the evolving nature of Coronavirus (COVID 19), we think it best to explain our Policy.
If you have booked onto a course with Trade-Ability and you develop a persistent Cough, High temperature or have to self isolate, please notify us as soon as possible
We will re-schedule your course to the earliest suitable date, honouring your deposit. We do not want to take any risks with our other students and staff here at Trade-Ability.
Whilst attending the course or shortly afterwards, you find yourself or any close family members find themselves with a Persistent Cough and High temperature, we would be grateful if you stay away from the workshop and notify us as soon as possible.
We can then inform students you may have come into contact with and put the workshop into Lockdown. If this should happen we believe we may have to close the workshop for about 2 weeks quarantine and a week to disinfect to ensure it is safe to re-open.
If we do have to Lock down the workshop all students deposits will be honoured and we will re-schedule your course to the earliest possible suitable date.
If no suitable date can be found, a full refund of deposits will be made.
We hope that none of the above will occur, but would like to put all our current and future students mind at ease that we will do everything we possibly can to keep you safe while attending a course here at Trade-Ability.
Trade-Ability offers short training courses at BTEC Level 2 in Plastering, Plumbing, Tiling, Bricklaying and Painting & Decorating at our centre in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
Each practical course can be completed Monday to Friday or some are available over two consecutive weekends.
For those seeking advanced qualifications, we now offer the BTEC L3 "Certificate in Construction and the Built Environment" which is completed over a 6 week period.
Trade-Ability provides a unique training experience in which to learn a great new skill in a friendly and relaxed environment. We cater for the complete novice upwards and will tailer training to your ability.
All our courses are 'HANDS ON' and professionally structured with small class sizes, ensuring you recieve one to one tuition regularly throughout the day. All tools and materials are provided, just bring yourself.
Our course syllabus is covered in 4 days, if you opt for the weekday course you get an extra day to practice your new skills.
How to Apply
Please check for availability on the required course page, when you have found a suitable date call to reserve your place. We will take your contact details and you will be e-mailed with confirmation of the booking.
A deposit of £125 is required within seven days to secure your booking. You will be asked to do a Bank Transfer or forward a cheque made payable to Trade-Ability.
The Balance of the payment is required on the first day of your course either Bank Transfer, Cash or Cheque.
